Lauderdale Lemonade Recipe Step by Step Guide

Lauderdale Lemonade Recipe Step by Step Guide :- My mother used to make this recipe for traditional lemonade for me when I was a young child. It is the recipe that I have been using ever since. What a delightful taste the summertime brings! It has the perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors, making it the perfect combination. If you are using a pitcher that is see-through, adding a few lemon halves that have been juiced will make it appear more appealing to the eye.

  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 8 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups Meyer lemon juice, strained (8-10 lemons)

MODERN SOUTH Phat Lemonade

During the process of writing this article, I experimented with a number of different lemonade recipes and came up with this version as a contemporary take on the traditional southern lemonade. It is not necessary for you to be overly concerned about using the remainder of the lemon. When combined with the mango, the rind brings in a multitude of intricate essential oils, which, when combined with the mango, result in a flavor that is so incredibly fresh that it almost causes you to lose your breath. As a result of the pith, this beverage has a characteristically foamy texture. It is imperative that you remove ALL of the seeds from the lemons before you blend them. This must be done before you begin the process.

Ingredients

  • 2-4 Meyer lemons | cut lengthwise into eighths and de-seeded
    (about 2 cups)
  • 2-3 mangos | peeled, pitted and cubed
    (about 2 cups)
  • 1 cup simple syrup
(See Traditional Southern Lemonade Recipe above.)
  • 3 cups filtered water

DIRECTIONS

  • Simply put the lemons, mangoes, simple syrup, and water into a large blender and blend until smooth. Blend until it is completely smooth.
  • Blend at the highest possible speed for a full minute. Use the highest possible speed. You should give it a good stir after it has been chilled, and then serve it over ice.
  • The addition of two ounces of premium vodka to a glass of Phat Lemonade, followed by stirring the mixture and drinking it, can make the beverage more festive.

Tips from the Professionals Lauderdale Lemonade

  • Proceed with the preparation of the lemon simple syrup. To combine the water, sugar, and lemon zest, place them all in a small pot and stir them together.
  • The mixture should be heated for approximately two to three minutes, during which time it should be stirred occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved. After placing it in a container that is able to withstand heat, cover it, and place it in the refrigerator until it has completely decreased in temperature. (For references, please see note 1.)
  • To ensure that the lemon simple syrup is transferred into the jar of a blender, it is recommended that you make use of a strainer that has a fine mesh.
  • Together with the ice and the cold water, incorporate the freshly squeezed lemon juice into the mixture. (Please refer to note 2 for further information.)
  • Blend until it reaches a consistency similar to a slushiness.
  • The drink should be served immediately in a tall glass that has been garnished with lemon slices and mint leaves. Have a good time!

NOTES:

  • In order to determine whether or not the lemon simple syrup is ready, it must be allowed to reach the desired temperature for a considerable amount of time. It is recommended that you complete it the night before, as this is the most efficient course of action one can take.
  • There is also the possibility of putting it in the freezer, which will hasten the process of cooling it down. This is another option. This is yet another alternative.
  • It is imperative that you make it a point to check on the mixture at regular intervals in order to take preventative measures against it freezing. The necessity of this cannot be overstated.
  • There is a significant chill to this lemonade that has been frozen. If you want your frozen lemonade to have a texture that is less icy, you can reduce the amount of ice that is in it by adding any amount of water.
