Soft And Chewy Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Warm up your oven and get ready to make Soft and Chewy Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, which are the perfect size for a snack. Each bite is full of big flavour.  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened – 3/4 cup white sugar – 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar – 2 large eggs, cold – 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 1 cup mini chocolate chip – Sea salt, for topping (optional)

Heat the oven to 375°F. Prepare two baking sheets with parchment. Cream butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer basin using the paddle attachment for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla essence after adding each egg. Beat the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until mixed, then add the small chocolate chips.  

Step 2

Place 1-tablespoon dough mounds on baking sheets at least 2 inches apart.   

Step 3

Bake the cookies for 8–12 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through, until the edges are slightly crispy and the centres are barely set. Let the cookies cool on the baking pans for 5 minutes before transferring them to a rack to finish cooling.
