Mango Lassi Frozen Yogurt Recipe

Mango frozen yoghurt that is creamy and made with only natural ingredients! This mango fro-yo tastes great and is good for you. This recipe makes one quart of frozen yoghurt.

– 16 ounces mango chunks (1 pound), frozen or fresh – ⅔ cup honey – 1 small lime, juiced – ⅛ teaspoon salt – 2 cups full-fat yogurt, chilled


Step 1


Mix frozen or fresh mango, honey, lime juice, and salt in a medium saucepan. Slowly boil the mixture over medium heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Take the mango mix off the heat and let it cool down for a while. Using a blender, blend the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth.

Step 3

Pour the mixture into a bowl and refrigerate until chilled. A larger bowl will cool it faster. It can cool in the fridge for a few hours or overnight, or you can freeze the bowl for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Step 4

Mix chilled mango and yoghurt, then freeze in ice cream maker per manufacturer's instructions. Serve immediately for soft serve or freeze for several hours for scoopable frozen yoghurt.
