Easy Prime Rib With Garlic Herb Butter Recipe

INGREDIENTS

– 1 (8-lb.) bone-in or boneless rib roast – 8 Tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temp – 3 Tablespoons minced fresh garlic – 1 Tablespoon minced fresh chives  – 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary – 2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves 

Set the roast out 2 hours before cooking to reach room temperature. Heat the oven to 450°F. Paper towels should be used to dry the prime rib.
