Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets (Freezer-Friendly) Recipe

Don't use a deep-fryer—make beautiful Air Fryer Chicken Nuggets and learn how to freeze and store them for quick dinners.  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 pound chicken breast – 1 cup all-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon kosher salt – 3 large egg – 3 cups Panko breadcrumb – Cooking spray

Cube chicken breasts 1-inch. Fill a plastic bag with flour and salt. Mix eggs in a small pan. Breadcrumbs in another shallow pan. Baking sheet parchment.  

Step 1

INSTRUCTIONS

Fill flour bag with chicken nuggets. Close and shake the bag to coat nuggets. After shaking off excess flour, cover each nugget with eggs and breadcrumbs on all sides.   

Step 2

Rebread the remaining chicken nuggets on the baking sheet. Start the air fryer at 400°F. Scatter frying spray on basket.  

Step 3

Layer chicken nuggets in the basket without touching. Chicken nuggets should be air-fried for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Removed and air-fried the remaining chicken nuggets.  

Step 4

TO FREEZE THE CHICKEN NUGGETS:- Wrap the nuggets in plastic after breading them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze the nuggets for 3 hours. Keep frozen nuggets in a plastic bag for easy access.  

Step 5

TO AIR-FRY FROZEN CHICKEN NUGGETS:- Start the air-fryer at 360°F. Scatter frying spray on basket. Layer chicken nuggets in the basket without touching. Spray chicken nuggets with cooking spray and air-fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping midway.
