The Best Pork Tenderloin Marinade Recipe

This simple recipe for The Best Pork Tenderloin Marinade works well in the oven, hob or grill for summer feasts!  

INGREDIENTS

– 1 (1-pound) pork tenderloin, fat trimmed  – 1/2 cup orange juice  – 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce  – 1 Tablespoon garlic powder – 2 Tablespoons light brown sugar  – 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil, for cooking

Halve the tenderloin widthwise. In a big sealable plastic bag, mix orange juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, and brown sugar.

Put the two tenderloin pieces in the bag, squeeze out the air, and seal. Stir the tenderloin pieces in the bag to coat them with marinade. Refrigerate the bag 30–60 minutes.  

Step 2

Remove the tenderloin from the bag and dry with paper towels before cooking. Add vegetable oil to a large cast-iron or stainless steel skillet over medium-high heat.   

Step 3

Once the oil is hot, add both tenderloin pieces to the skillet. Allow them to brown and release from the skillet for 5 minutes without stirring.   

Step 4

Flip the tenderloin slices and cook on all sides until 145°F. Let tenderloin sit for 5–10 minutes after removing from the skillet, then slice and serve.
