Homemade super-creamy ice cream that tastes like the last spoonfuls of milk after a bowl of lucky charms cereal.
– 480g or 2 cups milk– 240g or 1 cup heavy cream– 40g or 1 cup lucky charms grain cereal only– 1 cup marshmallow bits only– 100g or ½ cup sugar– ½ teaspoon fine sea salt– 6 egg yolks cracked into a bowl– 1 cup lucky charm marshmallow bits to sprinkle in after churning– Optional: food coloring

INSTRUCTION
Add grain cereal bits to heavy cream in a bowl. Let sit for an hour after submerging with a spoon.
STEP 1 .
Sieve and press the cereal bits to extract as much flavor as possible after the cream has absorbed enough flavor.
STEP 2.
Mix marshmallow bits with milk in a food processor or blender and let soften. Blend softened mixture.
STEP 3.
Mix milk, heavy cream, sugar, and salt in a large pot. Mix some of the sugar-dissolved mixture with the egg yolks to temper and whisk.
STEP 4.
Do it twice more. To temper eggs. Whisk the egg yolk mixture into the pot. Stir frequently until the mixture reaches 160 F and thickens.
STEP 5.
Remove egg and cereal bits by sieving the mixture into a heat-safe bowl. If using, stir in food coloring. Cool overnight.
STEP 6.
Freeze as directed by your ice cream maker. Add marshmallow bits in the last minute of freezing. Put in an ice cream tub and freeze.
