It's soft and chewy, and this Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake is great for any event. The best part is that you don't have to chill it!
INGREDIENTS
– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened, plus more for greasing pan– 3/4 cup granulated sugar– 1 1/3 cups packed light brown sugar– 2 large eggs, cold– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract– 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour– 1 teaspoon baking soda– 1/2 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt– 1 cup chocolate chip– Vanilla or chocolate buttercream frosting, for decorating – Assorted sprinkles, for decorating
Heat the oven to 375°F. Oil a 14-inch round cake or pizza pan with unsalted butter. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a stand mixer basin using the paddle attachment for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla essence after adding each egg. Beat in the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until mixed, then the chocolate chunks.

Evenly distribute cookie dough in the oiled pan. Bake the cookie cake for 20–25 minutes until pale brown and firm in the centre. Underbake cookie cakes for softer results.
Step 3
Remove the cookie cake from the oven and cool fully. After cooling, garnish with frosting and sprinkles, slice, and serve.
