Homemade Brownies with Cocoa Powder Recipe

You won't be able to tell the difference between this rich and fudgy brownie recipe and store-bought mixes.  

INGREDIENTS

-Cooking spray -2 large eggs -1/4 cup vegetable oil -4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted -1 teaspoon vanilla extract -2 Tablespoons water -1 1/4 cups sugar -3/4 cup all-purpose flour -2/3 cup cocoa powder -1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar -1/2 teaspoon kosher salt -1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunk

Heat the oven to 325°F. Prep an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper and cooking spray. Mix eggs, vegetable oil, melted butter, vanilla extract, and water in a large bowl.  

Step 1

Mix sugar, flour, cocoa powders, confectioners' sugar, and salt in a medium bowl. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until mixed. Pour the batter onto the baking pan after folding in the chocolate chips.  

Step 2

Bake the brownies for 35–40 minutes until the centre is just set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean. After baking, let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
